‘HIBISCUS PRIVATE HOSPITAL’ – 80 to 130 bed private hospital

Description: The existing 80 bed Hibiscus Private Hospital doubled in size, with a new upper floor template, and roof parking/services, with an increase of 50 beds. This included a new ICU, Peadiatric Ward, Pharmacy, Administration, Staff Dining, and Kitchen, and a re-modelled the Maternity and Surgical Ward, Coffee Shop, Entrance Foyer, Roof Deck Parking, Laundry, and Engineering Services.

Kathleen Hume – Brief and Room Data Seets, Health Licence Aplication, Health Planning and Interior Design – doubling the hospital footprint with a new first level, including the renovation and re-modelling the ground floor Maternity / Surgical Ward / ICU / Reception and Coffee Shop, with new accommodation upstairs as listed above.

Alistair Hume – External works design & documentation. Integration with the existing ground floor hospital structure & elevations. Services integration for new  Mechanical / Electrical / Fire / Water / Sewer / Storm Water / new lift & stairs / roof-deck access & parking & service plants, and allowances to enable the hospital to continue functioning during construction.
